Dr. Harvey A. Levin, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.Dr. Harvey A. Levin received his bachelor's degree from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Liberal Arts and his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He became a resident at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, before serving 2 years in the US Army. He has extensive private practice experience which has given him an understanding of the benefits of looking beyond the physical needs of his patients, to discover how emotional and mental issues can impact health and well-being and help change long-established habits to allow patients to change their lives permanently.

Dr. Levin is also currently in private practice at Gynecology & Preventive Medicine. A fellow of the American College of OB/GYN, Dr. Levin is also a member of the Florida Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. He has served as chairman of the OB/GYN Committee at Mease Hospital as well as a member of the Board of Trustees and PHO Board of Mease Hospital.

Sandra Alexander, M.S., A.R.N.P.Sandra Alexander has worked closely with Dr. Levin for twenty-five years and is an integral part of Dr. Harvey A. Levin's Weight Loss for Life program. Her skills allow Dr. Levin to provide a comprehensive weight loss program in a medical setting that includes routine health care and medication. Sandra compliments Dr. Levin's skills with her thoroughness and empathy and adds a woman's touch to the practice.
Sandra has been involved in women's health care for more than twenty-five years and is currently working with Dr. Levin at Gynecology & Preventive Medicine. She received her R.N. degree from Hunter College in New York City and her certificate in Nurse-Midwifery and Master of Science degree from Yale University School of Nursing. She has special interests in adolescent gynecology, health, pre-conceptual counseling and breast cancer awareness and education. She shares Dr. Levin's belief that medical care should look beyond the medical issues to the overall physical and mental health of a patient and understands the unique needs of women in today's world.
Walter W. Prather, Ph.D., BCBADr. Walter Prather earned his doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Florida State University, followed by a postdoctoral clinical internship in Marriage and Family Therapy from Kansas State University. He is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 20 years experience in private practice and has taught Behavior Modification and Stress Management at several universities.
